BackLink City 1

Pause for a definition. 
 An example of a backlink is one of those words in an article that is bold or underlined that takes you to another page or site when you click on it. 

  • It is designed to take you to another place of the author’s choosing.
  • Perhaps it offers more information or descriptions.
  • Perhaps it takes you to a sales page or an invitation to become a part of that author’s mailing list.
  • Sometimes it is simply an illustration of the point the author is making. 

    The important thing is the author has chosen to insert that link because it is something of value for you. It is also valuable for the author.  Just like the banner ads in this blog.

Are You Going Nowhere SLOW?

Are you going Nowhere Fast? 
My Dad used to ask whenever I was scurrying around and getting nothing done. 
I never understood the question. 
The image of the camel and the herder speaks to me…
THEY are going Nowhere SLOW. 

Well They think they are going Somewhere.
They watch traffic go by.
And wish they had some.
They don’t know that without more TRAFFIC they are indeed going Nowhere SLOW.
